You’re smart. You’ve overcome challenges and weathered hard times before. And yet managing stress, establishing good habits, and thriving in wellness remains an ongoing struggle.

Tell me if this is you:

  • Overwhelmed

  • Struggling to lose weight despite working really, really hard to accomplish desired health outcomes

  • Tried lots of different methods and diets in the past with little to no long-term success

  • Found a diet that managed your weight, but it’s restrictive, has you tracking everything you eat and is just a downright bummer

  • Emotional/binge eating

  • Trouble fitting in time for yourself, let alone for healthy habits

  • Frustrated that your very sincere efforts to change haven’t worked in the long-term

If you’ve made attempts in the past, the problem is NOT that you are lazy or uncommitted or lack discipline or willpower.

The problem has been with your past approaches, mindset, and framework of support.

You and your health deserve to be at the top of your priority list. The right coaching is how it gets there.

A Mindfulness Method

Most of us walk through life on auto-pilot. So when we find ourselves in situations we don’t want to be in, it’s often hard to tell how we got there or why our attempts to leave aren’t working despite our best efforts.

This method is especially effective for people with:

-Executive Function Deficits or Delays

-ADHD-inattentive or combination

-A Talented and Gifted Designation while young

Many factors work below the surface of our awareness. They are often the real culprits sabotaging our successes.

The mindfulness approach embraces both awareness and deep compassion so that we can step back and evaluate the systems and obstacles in our lives and in our minds that keep us stuck despite our best efforts.

Whether your health goals are losing excess weight, drastically reducing chronic stress, or developing a better daily routine to support a healthier life, I help you get there.

Life has the potential to be amazingly rich and vibrant. How we eat, how we move, the way we relate to people and our environment, the things we think and our mindsets can powerfully nourish (or diminish) every fiber of our well-being.

Imagine a life where you:

  • Have more energy

  • Carry out whatever healthy changes you’ve wanted, consistently

  • See steady fat-loss and improved health and fitness

  • Have a stronger grasp of nutrition, fitness, and the major contributing factors to unhealthy weight gain

  • Experience less stress and live with less guilt, less self-criticism, more mindfully

  • Understand your body more intimately and have a more harmonious relationship with yourself and food

  • Live out healthier habits more automatically

My coaching does not involve restriction or rigid plans. Effective coaching provides the framework for the both of us to see change through partnership and strategy. Compassion and non-judgmental expert guidance lie at the core of my practice.

As a health and fitness coach deeply educated in the practices of mindfulness, I provide the expert guidance, knowledge, and evidence-based framework of an industry professional to get you to your goals.

How Does Online Health and Wellness Coaching Work?

The convenience of having a coach at your disposable without the hassle of location dependent sessions is invaluable to busy professionals. Online coaching is one of the most effective and affordable way for me to offer my services.

Online health coaching is still a new and exciting frontier of healthcare. That means there are a lot of people offering their services, but very few are well-trained and even fewer have credentials that support their ability to deliver the most effective programming possible for this new space.

Successful completion of the Online Trainer Academy indicates competency and proficiency in all aspects of working with remote clientele.

I Was Just The Method’s First Success Story

Headshot.png

I’ve been active and passionate about health and fitness my whole life. At the time, I was working at a large gym as one of the head certified personal trainers.

Then I hit a stressful period of transition in my life. For the first time, I gained a significant amount of weight, almost %20 of my original bodyweight on a small frame.

I applied everything I knew to bring my weight down, but stress dictated what I ate and a draining schedule and commute dominated my day. Straight-forward, conventional strategies wouldn’t work this time, just like they don’t for many similarly busy, overwhelmed Americans today.

After a year of distress and maybe 2 pounds of weight loss to show for all my effort, do you know what I did?

I turned the game on its head.

Busyness and overwhelm benefit from different strategies. I deepened my practice in mindfulness and used the philosophies to transform my methods. I could see the barriers to my health more clearly and created more intuitive strategies to navigate them. I invested in the creation of reliable systems and habits to promote health that worked with my personal schedule and preferences.

The end result was a way of approaching health and fitness with an emphasis on nutrition, flexibility, and incredible shifts in mindset that brushed away so much of the stress that fueled my poor eating.

I stepped on the scale about two months after I adopted this more holistic approach just out of curiosity. I hadn’t in a while because I was busy living my life of renewed health and had LET GO of the fixation of constantly weighing and monitoring myself.

I had lost 7 pounds.

That’s even including the muscle weight I GAINED during this period.

I accomplished much more in 2 months of relative ease than in a year of struggle.

A mindfulness approach to health and fitness means less judgement, more self-compassion, and addressing the barriers to health operating beneath our levels of awareness to see results that last.

The way I think, live, and train now invites health, fitness, and most importantly, peace into my life, and I’m eager to help you in the same way.

Who is Best Suited for the Program?

  • Busy, stressed professionals seeking expert support in making health and wellness changes that stick

  • Those who want to see sustained fat-loss without strict dieting and inflexible workout plans

  • Anyone who would like to gain greater insight into how shifting the way we think and understand how the mind operates has measurable benefits for our emotional and physical health

  • Those who would like to implement long-term healthy living systems they can manage

  • Anyone interested in having a healthier relationship with food, their bodies, and their minds

Who is The Mindfulness Method Program Not a Good Fit For?

  • Those looking for the next fast and straight-forward fix to try. I facilitate lifestyle changes that result in steadier, long-term successes and require a mind open to totally new ways of approaching health, wellness and life. There are many diets and regimens and trainers who are better suited to what you are looking for. But if you’re ever ready to leave the constant struggle behind and adopt a totally new way of thinking and living, I’m here.

  • Those looking to lose as much weight as possible for a set event. Have a wedding or graduation or birthday or other party coming up? Have so much fun! Again, I guide lifestyle shifts with a longer term vision, but I do wish you the best in that journey and many others are willing to help. My deepest wish is that you to have an incredible time at the event regardless of what the scale says by the time it arrives.

  • Those not interested in sampling new ways of thought. Although meditation and mindfulness is gaining traction in the West, the concepts behind these practices are still fairly foreign. More than that, sometimes present-ness and the idea of doing less to accomplish more run completely counter to beliefs rooted deeply here. But we have to remember that a lot of those same beliefs and systems are what got us into the messes we repeatedly find ourselves in.

  • Those unwilling to be uncomfortable or experience newness. Discomfort is unpleasant, I know. This program leads to greater ease ultimately, but along the way you’ll experience moments of discomfort as you change your habits, behaviors, and thoughts. Change always feels unnatural even when its for the better and through this program we’ll learn to embrace discomfort and newness. It’s okay if this isn’t something you’d like and you don’t yet feel ready (although I can assure you, you are). When the discomfort of your present situation finally outdoes your discomfort of something new, I am here and more than happy to guide that change.
