About Your Coach:

Hi, I’m Jay!

I am an American Council of Exercise Certified Health and Wellness coach, American College of Sports Medicine certified personal trainer, and nutrition coach.

In my years of personal training, I decided to investigate whether being a black woman was I needed to consider when designing routines and nutritional plans to optimize my own health.

The answer is YES!

We are uniquely affected in big, big ways.

Black women as a whole have some of the poorest health outcomes in America for more reasons than we ever consider.

Industries that deliberately target the African-American community, racial and social factors specific to black women, physiological differences unaccounted for— none of these show up in conventional conversation and recommendations about health.

That’s why I’ve spent years studying and developing the most effective methods to support black women’s quest to fulfill our RIGHT to be healthy and happy. Healing the wounds, designing optimal environments, and setting up the habits and systems for success specifically for US.
