My Story
I had been energetic, fit and passionate about health and fitness my whole life! Then I hit a stressful period of transition in my life. For the first time, I gained almost 20% of my original bodyweight. A long commute plus a new stressful job left me feeling sluggish, stressed, and emotionally-eating.
I tried EVERYTHING to reverse my slipping health (buying exercise classes, hiring a trainer etc) but the near constant overwhelm sabotaged my efforts to eat well. I was wracked with guilt and consistent, healthy nutritional habits just weren’t sticking despite my best efforts.
Then something shifted. WHAT WAS IT?!
I did LOTS of inner work to reduce overwhelm and take back my life! I created reliable nutritional systems that worked WITH my personal schedule and curbed binge-inducing chronic stress.
Amazingly, I’m in a better place than I ever was! At my previous “healthiest” stage, my relationship to food was actually characterized by calorie counting and dieting and control disguised as health. Now I integrate truly healthy eating right into my lifestyle in a way that maintains a healthy body weight WITHOUT heavy control, restriction or guilt!
